Watercolour paints from the German manufacturer Schmincke are designed for demanding users. The paints are made from only the highest quality pigments in maximum concentration. Named after one of the company's founders, Joseph Horadam, they offer rich colour and high lightness in all shades thanks to unique preparation processes. Horadam colours consist of 140 shades of which 112 have the highest possible lightfastness and 95 single-pigment tones are available for excellent colour mixing results. The company Schmincke offers the best quality media for watercolour painting, which you can also find in our assortment.

Consistently selected best Arabic rubber is used as a binder. The watercolor pans are refilled four times during the production process and dried in the heating cells for several weeks to maximize the color possibilities.

This premium basic watercolor paint set, packaged in a convenient tin case for using this technique with a flip-up palette, includes 12 pans of various shades and a small da Vinci travel brush.
