Universal fixative Schmincke in spray 400 ml - 50401

Universal alcohol-based fixative, suitable for a wide range of materials and surfaces. It is colourless, non-yellowing and quick-drying. Gives a subtle shiny touch. Protects against dirt, sun and other common elements - does not protect against UV rays, so we recommend using it mainly for high quality lightfast paints and drawing materials.

You can use it for: charcoal, sepia, crayons, pastels, watercolor paints, gouache paints, tempera paints, linocut paints and printed photographs

You can then paint on the surface of the varnish with acrylic or oil paints, so it is possible to apply part of the painting using the techniques described above and then finish the rest with a pasty paint.

Shake before use. Spray by moving the can from side to side and from top to bottom, from a distance of 30 - 40 cm in a vertical or slightly inclined position. Apply to a completely dry substrate at room temperature. You can also apply multiple coats.
