Artisan water-based oil paint 200ml - 29 colorsWinsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour is the original oil colour made from modified linseed and safflower oil. This allows you to work with paints without dangerous solvents and you can use water to thin the paints. But otherwise, the paint looks and behaves virtually the same as oil paint. It has similar intensity, consistency, lightness, opacity and drying time.
It is particularly useful for artists who, for example, share a workspace or cannot use conventional solvents at school or at home. Recommended for those who have a problem with the use of conventional oil paints for health reasons.
In addition to water, you can use Artisan mediums for dilution and other colour adjustments (find HERE), do not use conventional oil paint mediums. In the Artisan media range you will find linseed oil, media and varnish.
Available in 200ml tubes in a range of 29 shades.
