Sennelier oil stick set of 6 pcs – Light tones portrait

Solid oil paints in a stick from Sennelier expand the possibilities of oil painting with unconventional approaches. The binder remains partly safflower oil, but it is partly replaced by neutral mineral waxes, which give the colour a solid consistency. The colours are highly pigmented and have good lightfastness.

After removing the dry surface layer, the paint can be removed from the stick with a brush or spatula, but it is also possible to apply it directly to the canvas by drawing. The layer applied in this way should be no thicker than 1 mm. The applied paint can be washed with all traditional thinners for oil paints - turpentine, white spirit and solventless thinners.
