Paint remover Schmincke 60ml - 50060Thinner designed for removing varnish from oil paintings. Contains: alcohol, acetone, mineral spirits, natural oils.
Procedure: Apply with a soft, lint-free cloth. Moisten the cloth in the thinner and run it over the paint with gentle (!) circular movements. The thinner should gradually dissolve the varnish without disturbing the upper layers of the painting. Then use a cloth to remove the thinner and varnish - don't leave it on the surface too long, otherwise the paint will be damaged.
Designed for professional use, use caution when working. Always pre-test the product in an area that is not directly visible, e.g. at the edge of the image in the fold of the decorative frame. For valuable paintings, we recommend finding an experienced restorer.
