Golden acrylic sheps black - various sizesSheps is a base paint that forms a "bridge" between the substrate (canvas, board,...) and the paint. It prepares the surface for acrylic and oil paints, which then adhere well and do not soak into the material. Proper application extends the life of the image and reduces the amount of color needed.
It is opaque, flexible and applicable to most surfaces. The density is just right for brush application, but you can dilute with water if needed. It is applied in thin layers, usually 2-4 times. Sheps is acrylic based and can be tinted with any acrylic paint.
