Mixtion Renesans 250ml – 12 hours

Strongly adhesive varnish based on linseed ferm. It serves as an adhesive medium for the laying of gold leaf and other leaf metals. The drying time of the twelve-hour Mixtion is the waiting time before laying the gold leaf. However, it is advisable to wait longer than this recommended time to apply the gold, as the most beautiful shine of the gilding will come when the Mixtion is almost dry.

Gilding on Mixtion is only done on non-absorbent and as smooth as possible substrates. Suitable materials include marble, granite, glass or metal. The gold-plated surface must be clean and degreased. The adhesive is applied in a thin, uniform layer with a flat synthetic brush. Can be diluted with 20-30% turpentine oil. The slices are laid after 12 hours at the earliest, when the mixtion is almost dry to the touch.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Turpentine oil is used to clean the brushes. Store in a dry place at room temperature.
