Charbonnel polish black 1l

Black polyment paste Charbonnel from very finely ground bolus in an adhesive solution. Poliment forms the final layer for gilding with gold leaf to high gloss. Black polymer is preferred in silver plating, as the black colour of the polymer makes the cold character of the metal even more intense. The flexible substrate has exceptionally good properties for polishing sliced metals. Suitable for indoor use only.

It is applied to the chalk base using a brush made of very fine hair in several thin layers. Once the surface is completely dry, it is smoothed with a coarse cloth to smooth out any imperfections in the substrate. The mixture is ready for use; it is heated in a water bath before application. It's diluted with water.

Before laying the silver, the substrate must be moistened with alcohol.

Store at room temperature. Close after use.
