Bolus in paste Manetti 0.8kg – red

Red polyment paste Manetti made from very finely ground bolus. The polymer forms the final layer for gold leaf gilding to a high shine. The flexible backing has unusually good properties for polishing gold. It lends gold its characteristic glow and emphasizes its deep luster. The red bolus is the basic one, which is used most often. For indoor use only.

Painting should be done very carefully; care should be taken to ensure that it does not run. For optimum consistency, we recommend diluting 1:1 with a solution of water and rabbit glue (90% water and 10% glue). Apply with a brush. Lay the slices until the bolus is completely dry. The bolus dries after about 2 hours.

The polymer can also be made into an egg polyment, where the binder is egg white.

Yield at normal area 10-12m2 / kg.

Store at room temperature. Close after use.
