Gilding paint Schmincke on a watercolor basis - various shadesSchmincke Aqua Bronze are shiny metallic shades on a watercolour base, especially suitable for use as a complement to painting (either with watercolour or gouache paints). You can use them on paper, cardboard or stamped canvas - we do not recommend using them on non-absorbent surfaces such as plastic or metal. The paints are waterborne. Distinctive and highly luminous metallic shades.
The ratio of water added determines the opacity, adhesion and gloss of the paint. Mix the colours with water 1:1 for higher opacity. Can be mixed with gouache paints. Finally, we recommend using a suitable fixative (depending on the substrate). We recommend using a separate palette, brush and water for mixing the pigment to preserve the remaining pigment.
