Arches cold press watercolor block 26x36cm, 100% cotton

Fine-grained paper of professional quality, made of 100% cotton. Best for watercolour, gouache, ink and acrylic. Produced on a cylindrical mould (traditional Mould-made process): the quality is close to that of paper produced by artisanal methods. The slow rotation of the roller allows the fibres to be deposited evenly and spread in all directions along the wire. The paper is homogeneous, with a flatter surface and better wet strength and stability, giving the artist more control. Due to the bulk stability, the paper releases evenly when wet. During the manufacturing process, a special gelatin is added to Arches Aquarell paper to make the papers scratch-resistant and the colors vibrant. The papers are naturally white and do not contain any lightening additives or acids, so they offer excellent durability.
