Pads Derwent Graphite XL Blocks are highly versatile water-dilutable pads that can be used for strong strokes. Break into pieces or grind into powder for detail and dry texture. Use wet for painting techniques such as spraying and varnishing.

Each robust pad contains a large volume, equivalent to 8 pencils. The soft pastel-style pad XL has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand for large-scale drawing. Use the edges and corners of the block to add subtle details and lines to atmospheric and tonal drawings.
